Rivalry Week

In honor of college football rivalry week, Mom let the Robster have half of a frosted Clemson cookie.

Mom was nervous she'd go into labor on Thanksgiving Day... Dad is nervous she'll go into labor in the middle of the big game.

Thanksgiving Playtime

Thanks to Ray for the awesome photos captured on this morning's attempt to burn off toddler Thanksgiving energy.  Amongst many things, this year, we are thankful for the new friendships we have developed as a part of the Brookland parenting community.

That Girl

I was totally not that girl last pregnancy.  I counted myself among the lucky one that didn't have major, painful Braxton Hicks or pre-labor contractions.

This time, I'm trying really hard to not be the expectant mom that cried wolf.

So tonight?

I may be in labor.

I may not be.

Who knows.

Had a doctors appt today and she waffled about sending me to hospital or not, and decided I was better off at home because other than contractions, nothing else seemed labor-y.

So here we are.  We wait.

For 11 more days.

11 more hours?

Who knows.

And I'm CONSUMED with the anxiety of asking one of the 10 people who have offered to take Robbie in the middle of the night.  I know they wouldn't offer if they didn't mean it.  But it seems like such an imposition.

I'm scared I'm going to need to call someone.

That it's going to be on Thanksgiving.

Totally that girl.

To Play?

It's fun to see all the neighborhood baby-babies (who some of we met within the first three weeks of their lives) starting to play together as they turn into baby-toddlers.

We try to get together and play with at least one neighbor per weekend.

Oftentimes, that's Miss Linds.

Robbie has learned how to lend a helping hand to a damsel in distress.
