My wife is a calm and cool woman. Rarely (like in never) does she get rattled. It is one of the many reasons I married her.
Then came this weekend. We are way past having no excuse not to start potty training so this Saturday we started potty boot camp. This basically means off came the diapers and on went the "big boy" underwear. The theory being that when an accident happens Robbie would learn pretty quick to head to the potty. After the 5th "I wet, I wet" Robbie showed little interest in going to the potty and my calm and cool wife was losing her mind. It was so bad that she left Robbie with me while she organized and threw out most of the stuff on the ground floor of the house.
Still have some work to do with young Robert. After this weekend I guess we know who will be handling this going forward. Given all that Susann does I am more than happy to man the trenches.
We are SO lucky that our daycare did a lot of the dirty work (as did the peer pressure from his friends at school). Though I did have a rule that whomever has the same "parts" as the one potty-training has to do the dirty work. :-) It'll click soon, especially since the Robster hate being dirty.
