I have four months worst of posts and thoughts and catching up to do. Maybe my Lenten adventure needs to be to make 10 minutes a few times a week to write this blog.
To catch up on the months.
Where we've been and where we are.
And to discuss being pregnant after infertility.
Without treatments.
Because there we are.
I think I've been waiting for the reality of it to settle in... and the reality is that I'm not settled with it.
I'm used to not being able to get pregnant.
And here I am. And I haven't processed it. 17 weeks later I haven't processed it.
I'm dwelling in the fears still-- about money, stress, working Momness, and just not knowing how we are going to do it.
And I'm in the guilt. Still very much in the guilt.
So there I am. Pregnant. Again. Unexpectedly.
Gratefully.
But unexpectedly.
Help me process this one. We've got until July.
Whoah! What what??? Congrats really. To you but especially to the Robster and AH, for they are going to be big brother (again ) and big sis (first time). What a gift for them--another sibling with whom they can commiserate and love.
ReplyDeleteAnd for you, sweet mama, process. Hugs. Many hugs. I don't know you personally but from what I do know of you through this blog (and you unwavering support of me and my crazies) you are simply amazing. And will totally figure this one out.
Oh, and Diono Radian. Car seats. Can fit three in the back seat. No need to buy a mini van or 3rd row car.
And pah-leassse. Post the story. You know. Like how you found out you got knocked up with a free baby/ sex baby.
Congratulations, Susann! I can kind of relate, a little bit. We needed a little bit of fertility help with our first one (nothing like what you went through though). Our second two took one try. #4...we weren't even trying. No idea how she got here, but we are so very glad that she's ours. Our family feels so complete and I can't imagine life without any of them. Crazy, but complete. Things will work out. You must be doing an amazing job with R and AH for the universe to send you a bonus one. :)
