Fat Daddy
I feel like I should be concerned that Robbie's nickname at his new school is fat daddy...
We spent so long trying to get him above 5% on the growth curve that I celebrated when he hit 15% at his last appointment. Now he's still not walking, but eating like a walker.

School Picture Day

Birthdays Galor
We had a great weekend. The main activity was Birthdays - 3 to be exact.
We went to to the Speed's to help celebrate C's 2nd birthday. The Speeds out did them selves with a Fall theme. Corn stalks, pumpkins and bales of hay were everywhere and they even had live music. C had a great time and as always it was great to see 3 generations of Speeds having a great time.
On Sunday we had a double header. We started off at the Krenik's event celebrating the 1st birthday of their twins - K and R. This party was held at one of the gyms for kids gymnastics. Everyone had a great time rolling, tumbling and sliding (Robbie's favorite). The place even had a zip line!
We finished up the day at the Ortega's for L's 1st birthday. A great time was had by all and the event ended with wonderful cake.

Next weekend is furniture time.

Buddies
We had to spend Monday out of the house in a final attempt to combat the latest pestilence to have faced our family: fleas.
When I say I'd rather have roaches than fleas, I am NOT JOKING. It has been a one month battle against these little buggers. We have tried all the natural remedies. We have tried all the chemically-bad-for-you remedies. Those suckers are PERSISTENT.
And gross.
And everywhere.
But I think we have won the battle.
We have no idea where they came from. Why they came. But they came. In mass. Gross.
The upside? We got a day-long playdate with Baby D and his Mom, including lunch, a 2 hour nap for the boys and a 2 hour catch-up-on-bad-tv session for the mamas.
Our little babies are starting to look like little boys. How far we have come since they met 13 months ago.
