No boundaries.

No fear.

This is Annie personified in a photo.

(Yes, she's standing on that truck, barely holding on to anything and totally unconcerned about it)

Corn

Corn... it's what's for dinner.

I mean, yes, it is actually what's for dinner.

Robbie demolished the corn after he finished that apple.

Getting close

Robbie and Anna Helen are starting to both hit some major milestones.

Annie is almost ready to walk.  Susann swears she took a couple of steps today at the church potluck but I did not see it so it clearly did not happen.  She is standing by herself and looks like she wants to take a step so she can keep up with her big brother - she can almost do that crawling.

Robbie has really started stringing works together in sentence that are starting to sound like sentences not gibberish.  To be fair, he is 2 so we are certainly not expecting him to breakout in a Shakespearian monologue about the futures of his amazing parents but it is coming.  He is also making good progress on his letters to the point of well he can recognize everyone of them and make the sounds associated with that letter.  His favorite new tv shows is all about letters.

Clearly our children are geniuses.  Thank God they take after their Mother.

A City Education

It sounds much more glamorous than it really is...

First, every parent thinks their child is a genius.... patterned after themselves, of course.  Until they realize he has memorized "Brown Bear" before you have.

Robbie is VERY into letters right now.

Now that he has graduated to the 2 year old classroom, they learn one upper case letter a week.

We always have known he's a watcher on our commute.  He sees and points out all the cement mixers, cranes, and pumpkins without fail.

However, in the last few days, he's graduated to "I see an R"

Or his phrase of the week "I find it!"

Which is cute, and hilarious when you see him pointing to this and saying "R!  I find it!"

And this. ("I SEE F!!!!!")

And this.  ("AN O!  FOUND IT!")

And this. "AN A!  AN UDDER A!  A-R-E-A!"

But mostly the liquor store.

From what we can tell, Robbie is VERY into the letters O, C, A, R, P and W.

And the sign at CVS.

Not interested in S and D.

I guess we should be grateful our commute is so commercial?

Here's to edumacation!
