As Susann has already noted, we are going to have a boy. I have said time and again that I simply wanted a healthy child - it truly did not matter to me. Now that we know I have to say I am pleased for several reasons; there will be and Edwards male to carry on the name and I get to play with all the new toys.
The best part though was sharing the news with my Mom and most especially my Dad. It is fair to say he was "tickled" with the news. I hope and pray that I will do half the job raising my son that my father did - time will tell but I have a great example of how it is done.
All signs point to yes! You're going to be a terrific father - as you've been a wonderful son and brother!
